The last proper version of Box Smasher was v1.0.1 released on the 25th of May 2023. A new version v1.1 is planned to be released sometime in the future, incorporating many changes and bugfixes that have occurred since then. In the meantime you can download the latest development version as a universal LÖVE package.

It is a ZIP archive you load with the LÖVE runtime, which runs the game. The LÖVE runtime is available for Windows, macOS, Linux and Android and can be downloaded at love2d.org.

Box Smasher v1.0.1 is also currently available on Google Play, however it will be disappearing on the 3th of February 2025 due to new Google Play policies that are hostile to individual app developers.
